The World of Genomics at The Field Museum

The Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology (IGB) at the University of Illinois approaches grand challenges in society such as antibiotic resistance, food security, reproductive health, and cancer treatment through the application of genomics technologies in a multidisciplinary environment. In honor of the ten year anniversary of the Institute we will engage visitors at the Field Museum in Chicago with hands-on activities led by IGB scientists, highlighting general science concepts as they relate to genomics using IGB’s diverse research portfolio.
